Sergeant, 9th County of London Battalion, London Regiment (Queen Victoria’s Rifles). Died 01/07/1916. Age 24.

No known grave. Commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France and remembered on St Luke’s War Memorial.

 

Frank Edward Jolly

Private, 2nd Battalion, Royal Fusiliers, City of London Regiment. Died 24/04/1917. Age 19.

No known grave. Commemorated on the Arras Memorial, Pas de Calais, France  and remembered on St Luke’s War Memorial.

 

Sidney Charles Jolly

Private, 7th Battalion, Norfolk Regiment. Died 22/10/1917. Age 26.

Buried in Duisans British Cemetery, Etrun, Pas de Calais, France.  Remembered on St Luke’s War Memorial.

 

Memorial Inscription at B30.721:  Slab with curb and metal letters. On the slab, IN LOVING MEMORY OF / SUSAN JUNE 1865-1907. / ALSO CHARLES HER BELOVED HUSBAND 1867-1958, / AND THEIR DEVOTED SONS / SIDNEY CHARLES / LESLIE HOWARD / FRANK EDWARD / WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-18.
